Dr. Scott B. Cameron
MD, PhD, FRCPC Pediatrics, FRCPC Allergy & Clinical Immunology
I grew up in Vancouver and completed my Bachelor of Science degree (Biology) at Simon Fraser University in 1998. I went on to complete a PhD in the Department of Experimental Medicine at the University of British Columbia. Following that I moved to Winnipeg to pursue my medical degree and in 2007 I graduated from the University of Manitoba. I then moved back to Vancouver where I completed a Pediatric Residency at BC Children's Hospital in Vancouver. Finally, I completed a sub-specialty Fellowship in Pediatric Allergy & Clinical Immunology at the University of Manitoba in 2012. Upon completion of my 18 years of post-secondary education, I was very excited to move with my family to Victoria, BC. where I run a community academic Pediatric Allergy and Immunology practice.
I contribute to academic teaching in numerous capacities, including teaching Immunology lectures at UBC, clinical training of pediatric residents and allergy and immunology fellows as a Clinical Instructor in the Division of Allergy and Immunology at BC Children's Hospital. I am also the Research Director for the Island Medical Program's Pediatric Residency Training Program. I am actively involved in oral immunotherapy research and have contributed as an author to a Canada-wide oral immunotherapy guideline for food allergies. I enjoy creating new educational material for my patient families. Dr. Victoria E. Cook
MSc., MD, FRCPC Pediatrics, FRCPC Allergy & Clinical Immunology
I grew up in Victoria, and completed a Bachelor of Science degree (Biology) at the University of Victoria in 2006. Having never experienced a “real” Canadian winter, I decided to move to Edmonton where I obtained an MSc in Neuroscience from the University of Alberta in 2008. I remained at the U of A for my Medical Doctorate, which I finished in 2012. I was eager to return to the west coast, and moved to Vancouver to complete a Pediatrics Residency at BC Children’s Hospital through the University of British Columbia. I remained at UBC and BC Children’s Hospital for my Fellowship training in Pediatric Allergy and Clinical Immunology, which I completed in June 2017.
Special interests include food allergy, primary immunodeficiency, and auto inflammatory syndromes. I have ongoing research projects with the Division of Allergy at BC Children’s Hospital, and am developing a mobile tool for patients who are concerned about possible food allergy.

Deborah Snell, RN

Deborah was born and raised on Vancouver Island and hasn't left since. She graduated with a Bachelor's of Science in Nursing from the University of Victoria in 2016 and has loved spending her time working with new families in a variety of community settings ever since. Deborah has worked primarily as a Public Health Nurse with Island Health but feels privileged to be able to provide immunizations to babies and children at Grow Health as well.
When she's not working one of her four jobs, you can find Deborah riding her road bike on the streets of Victoria, cross-country skiing at Mt. Washington, convincing her partner to adopt a dog, or hosting friends and family for homemade pizza and pasta nights. Deborah looks forward to meeting and getting to know your family!
